calipers or post mounts info

hi i just looked at a c2 hope not sure there fit being the caliper would be flat the disc weather a 160 or 140 would cut in to the top of it i,m thinking i need a angle on this to allow the disc to come in to the caliper if you see what i mean :LOL:
 
I've had hope c 2 in both 5 bolt and 6 bolt fittings

Think I've got a 6 bolt 165mm disc and poss. No 1 caliper here
Know I've got my old set of hope brakes 2

not really sure the new shimano is going to help me ,43mm must been a size only for a year or two which i,m still having probs pinning the year down i,m going try few things including drilling my own holes in a post mount any one reads this ideas welcome :idea: :LOL:
 
Do you know what the frame is? If you don't post up some pics - it makes more sense to figure out the frame first then go from there. That mount looks part of the original kit to me.

:D pics to come,its a muddyfox alu ultimate 7005 frame the lugs are welded from the factory i seen this on the lower arm on other retro bikes,and by the stickers on the bike its about 1994 to 1999 its not gold but blue underneath. i know this as i have the muddyfox alu team bike 2001-2003 was built and has same frame but different disc tabs 51mm a brace bar ,and cut out space frame next to the seat down tube and crank....

here it is :mrgreen: o,k red marks 1st bottom crank has a cut out box section,2nd has wishbone back square legs 3rd no option for v brakes 4th must have been a cable type rear caplier well thats what i think..


p,s disc wheel are for show disc is 160mm
