Calculate your spoke length ? Casio Programable calculator?

How many cross? Again guess at three?

I can't find M760 dimensions, but ignoring dishing of rear wheel, and using ERD I found on line of 615mm, and a hub centre to flange centre dimension of 25mm, I get that those spokes will be about 1.2mm too long. 299mm isn But rim won't be in centre of frame.

If it was a desperate ' get you home ' measure when stuck out in middle of no where, with a load of washers under nipples and thick rim tape, you would probably get it to sort of work, but if you are at home and in no rush I'd get the correct length.

If money short, and you don 'to mind the wait, NewsonSportec spokes are OK, and cheap. Thread quality is not the best, but I have over 10000 miles on one bike on their spokes.

Their online website spoke calculator is just plain wrong though, not just a little out.

****. I'd forgotten how heavy on battery usage this calculator is.!

Second set of batteries in a month. 3x CR2032'

That spoke issue, you could try a 4 cross patten on the drive side, spokes may 'just ' be long enough.

Re:

Assuming that GL330 is 700c then the spoke should be 301 or 302 mm in length for the front as is.
For the reward setup it would be 299/301 needed.
So see what length they are. If 301 then you may get away with it, if 300 your probably good to go, if 302 then you may be past or at the end of the nipple head and at the end of the spoke thread.

Assumed 3x 32hole but do your own calcs. Data is here http://leonard.io/edd/

thanks for looking at it, I will lace them up and see what happens , the rims are road tubulars which will give me a little more jiggle room at least

Might be near enough spot on

Spokes are never cut particularly accurately any how...maybe when you strip the new wheel, sort the spokes and keep longest for the LHS . Or even just trim them a fraction on a bench grinder

I reckon you may be right Skyfarmer , but I think I will lace it all up first just to check if i can avoid a grind

At least you will be able to go back if you don't grind first I guess.

I have found in the past on commercially built and cut spokes, up to 1 - 1.5 mm or more difference in spoke lengths any way..so at least grade them as you take them out the original wheel.
