I know it's technically the end of the summer and the majority of us are packing up our bikes until next year, however I know there are still people out there eager to start a new project...and for you lucky guys, I present this piece of history, the first Campag 10s set:
C. 2000 Campagnolo Record Ti/Carbon 8pc Groupset
- Record 175mm crankset (53/39)
-Record BB (english thread) - however I do have an italian
-Record brake calipers
-Record front mech
-Record rear mech
-Record cassette 12/21
-10s Campag compat chain - 0.5 wear(new chains have wear from 0-0.5, they need some play), plenty of life left. Re-connectable.
This beautiful groupset is in a very good, clean and fully functioning condition. It's complete with all bolts/spacers and the cables (housing and inner).
Specifics:
The wear of the cassette and chainrings' teeth are minimal, and both are clean. light scuffs to crank arms, only visible close up. Outer chainring was replaced, hence the newer 'EPS' one.
Carbon shell of the derailleur and the carbon levers are near perfect, barely a scratch to them.
The hoods haven't been worn that much and still have plenty of wear left.
Front derailleur is excellent. Brakes are very good, springs are clean and flawless, 2/3mm wear left to the brake pads.
Bottom bracket cup threading perfect.
Cables are good, came off a medium sized (54) frame so may be too small for large frames (>56).
