To be honest there are some awesome new bikes around, factor in 0% and I'd be tempetd to buy a new bike.
I know this is Retrobike, and I love old bikes, but for actually banging the miles out, training and riding in all weathers you can't beat a new bike.
Aluminium frame, carbon fork, Shimano 105 or Campagnolo Veloce.
Any brand you have heard of before and you won't be dissapointed.
