Picked this up from the scrap man for the princely sum of five pounds so thought I’d invest (£4.9 in some paint and show you all how it’s not done.
I watched a few YouTube videos and looked at a few examples on here and decided a combination spray and brush is the way to go. Longun has made a great job of a few of these and Peachy seem quite adept with a gun so with this in mind I have nothing to lose.
Preparation was thoroughly undertaken for about five minutes.
First thought was outside. Blowing a gale today so rethink. Dug out my trusty ex longbow comp hidey tent thing. Erected inside shed. Heater on. Windows all closed. Get inside. Spray forks. Get out. Pass out. Wake up. Leave zip open. Spray frame. Enjoy a pleasant light-headed 20 minutes admiring my work before realising everything in the shed now has a thin film of paint over it. Tools, bikes, boxes frames, lights etc. Ah well. It’s a start.
A bad workman................ the chair looks good. I was sold at £1.99
The next coat, after I’ve finished this dear friends, will be in the hide in the yard. Hopefully it’s warm enough. 30 mins drying time so the adhd tendency is being satisfied with my typing.
I went out there to make a wall mounted box for the house electrics. Enough said.
More anon.
