Budget Specialized Project- suggestions please

Seeing as the Funk won't be here for a week or so I had to find something to tinker with now the Dale is finished. Bought this on the bay this afternoon as a fill in project- it'll suit the missus a treat

Its a wee thing- 14.5" and is supposedly '92ish.

My plan is to try and build a credible retro ride for less than £150. I already have some bits and bobs to go on it- you know the spares that are not even worth selling- mis matched shifters, slightly tatty M-733 levers, short quill stem, amber Wild Grippers that came off the Cannondale, a rear XT mech and a pair of no name wheels with Shimano hubs that have had a quick service and straighten. So I'm halfway there.

Any suggestions and pointers to a cheap low maintainance build for the missus would be mucho appreciated. What bars? Chainset? Brakes? should I put on it. I want it to be half decent and don't mind spending a little more next month when the old tax return is sorted but I don't want to go mad.
Finally any idea where I can find Pics and spec of the standard bike?.

Cheers me dears

Is taht the Orange Rockhopper? I loved that bike. Really wanted one. Think it was '92.

All black bits.

:D

cheers for the tip offs and offers guys.

It is an orange Rockhopper, I really liked em BITD and have been keeping an eye out for one for a while. Its too small for me but ideal for the wife. Going for a simple black build on this one, nothing flashy.
Frameset has yet to arrive but the seller said it wasn't too bad. A quick cut and polish, touch up and new decals I think. Then a mixture of Deore LX and DX plus what I have kicking around. Should be a sweet little ride and my first steel bike since 1990!
