Buckingham Pallets

I really like the scales idea. Did you cut them out by hand or do you have a die for the guillotine of yours?

Thank you. I was inspired by a friend who'd done a similar thing with tetrapacks. I used the guillotine to slice the ends off then cut them out a few at a time with some sturdy old scissors. Hoping to get them in place over the weekend. I'm tempted by @bikeworkshop Roman tiles idea of alternating silver and outer label rows of them.

Well, (paid) work has been demanding recently, so shed progress has been slow. The weather has also been terrible so I seem to have had very few decent hours of daylight in which to work. However, Buckingham Pallets is now weatherproof and ready to move in to - thus, very narrowly, meeting my pledge to my wife to get almost all of the bikes out of the house by Christmas!

Used red and white pallet offcuts for maximum bigtop effect. Got some work to do over Christmas on the beer can fish scale supply!

Merry Christmas one and all! 😘
