BSA Wayfaerer Orange Path Racer For Sale

Very nice - BSA Wayfarer was my 1st bike, in 1968

Didn't look quite like that one though, I rattlecanned it in Ford Pacific Blue metallic

Good luck with it.

Nelly, those hubs are wicked, you get used to them very quickly. The best bit for me is that the gears and switching are so solid. I have 100% confidence in the drive train and so can worry more about enjoyment.

Cycle along normally in low, kick back just a little and you hear and feel a small click, you're in high then and with this bike and it's gearing its good for a good 25mph+. The brake works well too.

Couple this hub with a nice strong frame like the BSA and you feel total confidence in the bike. The hub also allows for a really clean look to the bike, no rear cables or mechs, just think of the weight savings too.

I would recommend...hmm, do i really want to sell her!

Cool. What I have planned for my Scot isn't a million miles away from what you have done with the BSA. Except of course for the expenditure. You have to keep this bike! I doubt auctioning it on ebay will get you your money back. You've done a brilliant restoration, now enjoy it!
