BSA Golden Fifty finished

That looks fantastic, with a great combination of colours. The component choice is excellent, and enhances the character of the bike.

this is a Valentino:

Interesting drawing of the Valentino - the cage screw is in the wrong position and the cage itself is a strange design.

Perhaps it was drawn before the full production specification was decided.

Re:

Read in classic lightweights the difference with gran sport and valantino is the position of the bolt on the changer arm. On top gran sport and at 45 degrees valantino. Extra shoulder support also, were they prone to break or wear?

Not that I am aware of. They seem pretty well bullet proof.

I think the operating arm on the Valentino is slightly different to the GS as well.

Re:

That gold / metallic blue colour scheme is blooming lovely. You've done a cracking job there.

Have you been able to take it for a spin yet?

I had a chance to do a small test ride on Saturday, sunny and dry but still only +2 degree. The bike is riding beutifully, good responce and the gearing seems to suit may untrained body well. Jus has to wait untill the real spring for the proper test. The weather forcast is promising us 30 cm of snow tomorrow so I have to wait some weeks more. See you all in Blakewell in June!
