Never got on with brooks really, bought one, broke it in rode it for about 9 months, didn't like it, tbh I don't see what all the fuss is about? They seem to be very flavour of the month at the moment you couldn't give them away 5 years ago and Brooks were in financial difficulties.
I worked very briefy at the post office in Southampton back in 89 and they were getting rid of all the bikes, the old bike mechanic bloke was nearly in tears as he threw well over 100 delivery bikes into a huge skip, most of them had Brooks saddles and another type, can't remember the name but there was an oval stamp on the saddle with the makers embossed into it. If I'd know then I'd have had the lot, kept them in storage and made a killing selling the to all the poseurs

i have done around 40 miles this week on this saddle and i think i will be able to get used to it.
i know it looks a little odd on my bike, but from a functional point of view it is great. and its a great conversation piece.
i am glad i got this saddle and will be doing many miles in the future on this saddle, and despite the high price tag, i have no regrets buying this awesome saddle.
