Broke my Canal Virginity today

I have ended up in the water a few times. Last time I was going too fast coming out the back of Ladbroke Grove Sainsburys and was more busy waving at my mate sitting over the other side than turning. She described it as some kind of slapstick silent movie scene as I went straight off into the water waving as I left the path. Of course I was very, very drunk.

Least the important bits stayed dry.

I can't be the only one, after whatever major off I've had, first thoughts are how much damage have I done to the bike.

I had a big off once and banged myself up a bit, As i was picking myself up off the ground my mate arrived on the scene and said "is everything okay?" I went over to my bike, started looking it over and replied "yeah it seems to be all okay" to which he replied "I ment you, are you okay?"

Phone has been dried out and stripped and is now working, so no harm no foul, no damage to bike and the only thing is a scrape/cut on my leg.

So as the great Romeo Dunn said "It's all gravy"
