Brodie Rodie in Germany

Not a thing that needs changing. Worth asking, could you get a better new bike for that price? Handmade steel bike by a true master, Paul isn't making any more of them, only getting rarer as time goes on
aye 'tis true, however its possible to source 6-10 lovingly made vintage handbuilt frames/bikes and restore them to like new for that much and this Brodie would likely be a wall hanger too. I am working on an equally rare but battered Paul Riley built frameset as we speak - cost £65 and is proving to be a real challenge. I do agree this is a good buy for someone who wants a piece of history and doesn't want to build or restore anything

No, this was why I compared to a new bike, something bought to be used. You could go into a shop, but a carbon bike for more, and dispose of it in five years, or buy that Brodie and have a friend to ride for life. I get that there is no worth to hanging it on a wall, but no bike deserves that. They're made to be used
