Picked up a 1980s Roberts catalogue recently and thought it would be worth putting up the relevant information from the photocopied insert contained within. I hadn't heard of the Cobra, or the Cobra Dispatch, or the Mantis!

Thank you for sharing that. Chas Spoke of the Cobra at the Bristol show, certainly never mentioned mantis etc.

A very cool find Roly and would love to know what year this was made especially as their speccing upto a 2.2" tyre for one of their frames (Hardpack)???

Love the sound of the Cobra despatch though :cool: :cool:

Says April 88 on the last page ;-)

A lot of 26” wheeled options for a primarily road bike biased company, they really went for it.
