One of my new projects for the Mountainbike Museum, Arnhem.... on the lookout for specs and the original forks.

Im really intrigued by this, wopuld love to hear more, How did you come by it...? It looks to be in pretty good shape given its age, did you have any luck with the measurements, head tube length would be a help too, trying to seek out the correct fork if I can help.

The spec for the original fork for this frame, was a fillet brazed Unicrown with bosses for U brake and/or rollercam, it would also have had carrier bosses half way down the leg.

I hope this is of some help, such a great score and worth waiting for the fork, or even having Dave make another for it. Hows the drive side chainstay looking close up....?

The chainstay looks pretty crappy. I'm thinking about a complete restoration, but I don't know if I can find the time with all the other projects I'm working on.... and is it worth it.

I knew I had it somewhere......

Hopefully this will answer the question "is it worth it".

What you have is the original blueprint built by Yates, and used by Roger and Lester for the infamous "Tushingham Works Replica".

All but the colours of course....

Hope this is of some help

Great research Carl. That Yates is really interesting. Never seen a bottom bracket like that before

Its similar to what is used today to hold eccentric bottom bracket inserts in place., id love to have that frame in hand to measure the width of that shell.

Now.........That Yates is just cool, definitely deserves bringing back to its factory fresh self.

Enjoy
