The spec for the original fork for this frame, was a fillet brazed Unicrown with bosses for U brake and/or rollercam, it would also have had carrier bosses half way down the leg.

I hope this is of some help, such a great score and worth waiting for the fork, or even having Dave make another for it. Hows the drive side chainstay looking close up....?

The chainstay looks pretty crappy. I'm thinking about a complete restoration, but I don't know if I can find the time with all the other projects I'm working on.... and is it worth it.

Can I ask what is the seat tube length from centre to centre, and centre to top...? if it is a build you might shelve and want to move on I might be interested.

Tick! A British Eagle comes with something a lot of these bikes dont have is TOTAL INVISIBILITY.

It allows you to ride in total anonymity as it is studiously ignored by the self appointed glitterati (shape shifting lizards, the lot of 'em, 'allegedly')

It was something that British Eagle worked very hard on from the start. Pretty much as soon as they were available via the Kays catalogue or Grattans TOTAL INVISIBILITY was instantly enabled.

So if you thought you saw a British Eagle, you didnt, because you cant.
