Love this pic.

The green and yellow paint job, the Axo style boots, the crazy top. It screams the era!

Its a cool pic and certainly of its time as you say.

What grabbed me about it was the paint work. a refreshing slant on paint offered by British Builders to my mind. I can think of only a couple of builders prepared to go that wild at the time.

as arty as a British "Mountain goat".....lol.

Roly you are a tease......., I raced home from work, hoping you were going to spring a picture on me of a Quicksilver.

TEASE TEASE TEASE.......lol.

Sadly I don't have the article, and my only memory of it, is riding a pretty battered Bonty and my mate showing me his new Cool Yellow and Blue Quicksilver, which just hit the sweetspot for me.

I'll find the article and take some pics.

Stratos WS - never heard of that variation. What might WS indicate here then??

What do you mean Neil...., you have lost me..?

if you mean the ref in the ad to the white spider, all the pics bar the red middle picture, are stratos, the red bike is a White spider(non Elevated).

If that is the ref you mean..?
