British Eagle Touring Frame. 531cs 22"

Change of plans means that this interesting fast touring frame is up for grabs.

It's a British Eagle: I think a Crusader from around 1987 (the one that came with the nifty Modolo Cantilevers).

It's 22" C-C and made from Reynolds 531 CS (Club Sport baby). If I remember rightly, that means 531DB main tubes, 501 cromo forks and stays. The frame comes in at a svelte 4.4 lbs on my luggage scale. It's been stripped and powder coated in pale green - unbuilt since.

Nice pointy lugs with heart-shaped cutouts, and a very darling heart shaped 'pip' to help locate band-on down tube shifters. Canti brake bosses.

This sale is for the frame; I'll include the forks if you want them, but I think the steerer is misaligned: I couldn't get the headset to line up properly.

£65 plus postage - around £20? I'll charge the actual cost.

Any questions, just ask.
