British Eagle Pro-Carbon project

OK, that interesting. Both of mine must therefore be early versions as they're both under tube routing, but oversize tubing. They both have the green dash though !

Thanks, it would be really nice to have the original items. How much would you want for them?

I do have the original saddle with a rather loverly embroidered 'British Eagle' badge. Not the nicest saddle but would probably be impossible to ever find another, so it will stay with the bike - not that I could ever imagine selling.

I looked for a very long time for one of those saddles, as you said they'll be impossible to find now.

So, what are the chances…
I was walking my dog on the Malvern Hills today and whilst munching on a protein bar spotted a chap on a Pro Carbon bike. After gaining his attention it turned out to be Dirt Disciple!
Made my day and was great to see another Pro Carbon being used, still looking good and going strong.
Here’s the pic I shared of me on mine last year touring around the Elan Valley and south Wales, along with it ‘naked’ without all the touring kit

Everything is still original except the saddle, pedals (which I still have), brake blocks and the tyres 😏

That chap on the Pro Carbon in the Malvern Hills was me. As you say what were the chances of that eh.

Good to meet you and have a chat - although brief. I also drive a 50 year old TVR as my daily run about and get stopped all the time by people who are interested or have/had one. But that was the first time I've ever been stopped on my Pro-Carbon. As you can tell, I like old stuff.

Loving the photo with panniers & all the kit. We ride the Elan valley quite a lot and that has got me thinking about riding an overnighter next summer perhaps. It's a stunning landscape up there.
