British Eagle pre 1990

I currently own a British Eagle "Stratos" in grey and although i consider myself to be a fairly good researcher when it comes to hunting down info on the internet, I haven't been able to find a stitch of information about this bike i.e. when it was made or anything else.

My point is that I am currently in the process of smartening it up and I wanted to find replacement decals and the original specs list. I've just bought it a lovely new pair of weinmann levers to replace the old knackered hoods, jagwire cables, new 27 x 1 1/4 wheels & tyres, a better seat & seat post (granted that one's more for me than the bike) and really wanted to see if i could get new decals for it before i remove the old faded scratched ones.

If anyone knows anything about this bike it would be greatly appreciated. I'll get a couple of pictures up and see if that jogs anybodies memory.

Did you ever manage to source any info on this?

I'm currently having the same struggle. The one I picked up was pretty beat so the paint and decals were beyond saving and as it was just a frame I have no idea on the original spec.

Nothing dude, I ended up selling it on to a mate about 6 months later and no longer have it. Sorry dude. Good luck in your search and remember to post it here if you do find anything! I'd be interested to see your work on it
