I was trying to think of Britsh bicycle manufacturers who used British place names, either as their company name or for a model. Road bikes only.
I thought it would be easily to reel off a load - but got stuck on just a few:-
Carlton
Pennine
Ribble
Humber
Raleigh Lenton
Raleigh Trent
Raleigh Chiltern
Elswick Hopper Lincoln Imp
Viking Severn Valley

There must be lots more.......................

Does Mercian count, I wonder? It's a historical placename, and Derby was certainly in Mercia.

Hobbs of Barbican
Langsett (Sheffield)
The Flying Scot

An obscure one from Dorset.

Hamoon

There is a shop in Shaftesbury called Hamoon Cycles, but i am referrring to the frame builder who was based in the village of Hamoon. A 753 registered builder i beleive.

Alves. The legendary Charles Ralph built his bikes in the village of Alves between Elgin and Forres in Moray, north east Scotland.
