Hi. Like any sensible family man I am whittling down my collection of bikes, and this is one of them. It was bought new by me as a frameset in 1989 and lightly used. The original plan was to build it up and sell it but it ended up on my turbo trainer and, who makes good use of one of them? :roll:
It is Italian, built by Technotrat in Cuneo with Columbus Aelle, cast lugs and fittings, clearance for 25c + guards and the standard of work is excellent.
This year I had it resprayed at a professional car body works, fitted it out with brand new parts: full 10 spd Shimano 105 groupset, RS500 wheels, ITM bars and stem, Selle Royal saddle and Vittoria tyres. It is immaculate and yet to turn a wheel on the road. A great combo of retro frame and modern kit and quite unique. Price is £675.
