Breezer JBX1 Replica

Phil2B

Retro Newbie
Dear riders, this post to introduce my new bike (which is compeeting for BotM): After 2 years of purchasing original parts & building the frame & fork, here is our "french made" Breezer JBX1 replica. All the angles, dimensions, tubing, Campagnolo track tips, etc... are the same as the first modern mtb that Joe Breeze made for himself in 76 to ride with his friends in Marin county & to take part to the Repack DH race. Unfortunately, the original Dupont/Elron color is not available anymore. So, we cooked a mixed of several actual colors for cars to make it as close as possible to the original. I hope you'll enjoy the pictures of the making & the result. This bike will be a subject of an article in the next "Vélo Vert Magazine" (French mtb mag since 1989). Note that I have been glad to find probably one of the last Brooks B72 saddle new in box in Ninon's shop (close to London) & sad too because she was stopping her business....Best regards. Enjoy your rides on our beautifull "retro" bikes: Riding is enjoying freedom! Philippe
