Brake therapy retro fit disc brake conversion. This conversion was made to enable disc brakes to be fitted to bikes without disc mounts.
The kit includes a custom machined Hope pro 2 hub in gunmetal,a custom made disc brake carrier with connecting rod to secure to the frame.
Axle and quick release included.
This kit is made for 140mm dropout spacing though I have had it fitted to my steel stumpjumper with 135mm rear spacing simply by spreading the rear triangle .The connecting rod would need a clamp depending on your frame and works on hardtail and full suspension frames.
£180 ono
If you would like high resolution pics I can email them to you and instructions for fitting.
I will remove the old rim ,disc rotor and cassette from the hub for the buyer, that leaves you free to choose your own brakes, drivetrain and rim.You are however welcome to the rim as built up ,it is a bontrager maverick rim with ceramic braking surfaces for cantilever brakes, old but still good .
thank you

Hi, I recently got a santa cruz super 8 frame with this kit. I see you have a custom machined hope hub, what did you have to do to the hub to make it fit with the rest of the kit?
