Brake pad help

Hezza

Old School Hero
Hi,
I am in the process of tidying up a 94 Team Marin and it has these brake pad housings, the pads were missing. They have BWi on the casing.

A couple of things,
Firstly, are they the correct ones for this period?
Secondly, if they are correct, any idea where I can get replacement pads?

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Never seen those, not sure how the rubber should stay in place? Anyway, on a 1994 Team Marin there should be XT 737 Cartridge pads as OEM pads. For actually using the bike I much prefer Koolstop Eagle. The Shimano pads tend to harden over the years, even if you manage to find them NOS. The stock svelte Mavic 230 rims will thank you with a much longer life.

Thanks for the advice and information. As I would like to be able to stop the bike I will follow your suggestions.
