I think I'm just gonna use the soles of my shoes just to prevent any further debate...




(Have actually gone with the Magura's- if I can get some replacement Rockshox decals in blue or yellow then it should be less offensive overall)

Good choice. you could get some custom flouro judy decals done (and the rim stickers?). then carry the blue through with a few darker blue ano bits like chainring bolts etc. I'd keep it all dark blue though, especially if you're loosing the bright turquoise of the cantis. That'd look good with those bars, and the stickers. And maybe some matching yellow grips...

If you go with single ring make sure you get a narrow wide one (plenty of cheap and reasonably good ones out there - snail etc on ebay). Nothing wrong with going for a sort of retro-mod build, especially if it means nice old bikes get ridden, and it's doen sensitively in a way that actually works (not like sticking 5" forks on a '91 frame and lifting the BB so high it doesn't go round corners)

I'm liking this, and always loved racelines...
