Brake blocks?????????

This is probably a question that been asked loads of times better before but what brake blocks would people recommend using . I currently have Shimano fitted and they squeal a bit when applying the lever slightly since they got slightly wet .

On a serious note, agree with Paul R, Koolstops are good and easier to toe in than the Shimano's you are currently running. Either way the front most part of the pad should always slightly lead.

As above on the toe in. Watch as you apply the brakes, ideally you want the front of the pad to be hitting the rim slightly before the back. As you mentioned its only started since it got wet then it's also worth giving the rims a good scrub with some bike cleaner in case you have picked up some contamination.
