I will take all my 8 or 9 Manitou 1, have the tubes re-anodized in a beautiful dark grey, manufacture some round cantilever thingys and put other decals on them and Im goooin to be riiiich!

Fake rebuilds should be easy as these forks are so simple in design.
Man, this is already happening with a lot of parts from the 90s (and current ones too - of course).
As a collector this is really bad. Sometimes it is extremely difficult to detect a fake.
