Boulder
Yes my first Boulder was a 1992 Intrepid, had it set up with the Works Performance rear shock, Suntour XC-Pro + Campy Record OR brakes, Campy 1 1/4" headset, nukeproof bars and Marzocchi XC 400's (then XC 600's and DH3's).
My flatmate at the time in Chicago (who was a Boulder dealer) had a gold Defiant, with the Mavic Magic Mountain groupset, Boulder canti brakes and RS Mag 21 forks.
Boulder used to offer a deal with their frames, where they would paint the forks of your choice the same as the frame. They had IMO the second best paint schemes - I used to have a Mountain Goat catalogue, and they had amazing paint options (at a price).
Do you know how much they are asking for the Intrepid Ti?
I guess collecting Ti Boulders would be a good way of becomeing poor very quickly! :?
