A frame out heating insulation tubes held together with tape? No idea.

Obviously a foam rubber bike held together by micropore tape...........fairly ding resistant they are, but murder for frame flex..........

Back end looks definitely Boulder Defiant (ish).

Bang on the money there. Tis indeed a Boulder.
I'm amassing parts for it now. Going for a nice period build with lots of nice NOS XT, all black with a few splashes of white. It should land on Tues or Weds next week, I'm going to build the wheels for it this weekend if I get a minute and try and have it ready for the next RB meet down Yorkshire way at the end of February.
