Hi Guys
Update on the Raleigh Dyna-Tech
Finished the faded colour area,got an excellent job done locally.
In the process of building it up to it's original build.
Have taken your advice on re-finishing the faded paint.
Cleaned and greased all parts,they are in absolutely mint condition,all the bits were covered in dust and muck from storage.Iv'e never seen components in this original finish.
The only item i will need is a seat post,or maybe remove all scratches by polishing to a nice alloy finish,or finish in matt black.

That looks like a nice project
Not my colour scheme really but it sounds like a good project keeping what is essentially a very good condition, original frame with a known history going for a long while yet.
Expensive in its day, but it is a huge size :shock: is he sure he wasnt charged by the gram
