Bottom bracket tools

I have to remove two threaded bottom brackets from two frames.

One is shimano and the other Fag (?) what tools can you recommend to get the job done properly? Both of mid eighties vintage.

FAG and Campagnolo (early 2000s) Centaur / Veloce are the same.

Assuming the Shimano is cup and cone you need a lockring spanner and cup spanner.

Most are available still, just take a bit of looking. Tacx, Cyclo and Park still have them available.

The Park ones are HCW-4, HCW-5 for most cup and cone bottom brackets, and BBT-4 for the FAG / Campag types.

You could also look for a normal "lock nut key" (don't know if that's the right term for it) in the right size, they can be found in any hardware store and will propably be cheaper than a bike tool.
