Bottle cage advice - compact frame

Looking for some advice
Want to have a cage on the 17" P7 I am building up but with all the ones I have in the parts bin (standard elite ciussi style ones) it's really awkward getting even a smaller bottle in and out. I've tried a modern plastic elite one off my road bike which works better but looks wrong.
Any recommendations for an alternative? side loader maybe?

Have a camelback for longer rides just wanted a cage to throw a bottle on if I'm just out for an hour or so
Use the Elite custom racing ones on my road and cx and they work well and spotted their alloy side loader and the plastic cannibal ones
Bike is actually a 99 frame (more activity on pre 97 forums) and isn't full period build so will probably end up going one that offers decent value and works well

I put a fairly standard Zefal cage on Mrs R's 17" P7. Seems to work okay.

If you're not too bothered about being period correct, there are plenty of side entry cages around too.

The Specialized Zee cage is side entry and perfect for small frames, managed to fit one on my full suspension bike where there was no chance of fitting a normal bottle cage and being able to get the bottle in or out.
