It's between the Merlin, the P23 and the Xizang for me. After much deliberation, the GT just shades it. Just the coolest bike there was bitd.

I like the Salsa just because Dirt drops are fun if done correctly and this one is spot on!

The Ritchey is cool too, just because I am biased towards Ritchey's.

I don't like GT either but THAT one I would ride!

I voted the other day for the GT and share both your sentiment above
I've even voted in the past for a Klein and they bump GT off the bottom of my list for bikes I've no desire to ever own

In both case they more than over came prejudice

Which does lead me on to a dilemma - my personal criteria for what I normally vote on, is based on some very simplistic, which would I like to take out, ride, and take home. There are occasions where the line up includes some very nice bikes, that I do think are very impressive, but none that particularly stirs me - sometimes that means that I don't vote, sometimes I merely compromise and pick on that appeals best from the list.
