Pretty much what I do. However I love riding so many different styles/ages of bikes for differing reasons. 100% use the build thread to help make a final choice. It's not just a beauty parade for me.

Surprisingly easy for me this month despite all the great entries again, some of the later entries especially are pretty special. But that O is perfect in every way and ticks all the "al" boxes for me, nice and muddy too

The Rocky Mountain to me is pretty exceptional.

Love the colour and componentry and background setting and...just that loooong seat tube.

I'm not aware of any "rules" on this nor of any "etiquette". Personally I stick to general comments/numbers, rather than "x gets my vote" but IMO it's down to individual choice.

I gave in and voted for the one that stood out to me, no bias applied, but all lovely bikes. I didn't vote for a Marin even though I went looking for one....
