, the silver front.

Silver was necessary in order to meet the parameters I'd set out, being year appropriate, weight conscious, and matching the Ritchey pedigree of the frame. The Black Ritchey stems of the day were heavier...and I wanted to assure a sub-23 pound bike.

I usually don't target weight in a build, but this one was a personal challenge - and the silver was a minor concession to make!

I love the frame and the fork, the only thing that sticks out to me is the black tyres and the front brake? I could be wrong, sexy as they are they don't seem year appropriate..?

am I wrong, they just seem considerably newer than the rest of your build given the above comment..?

Resto-Mod - Year appropriate fuselage & drivetrain with hot rodded, but still distinctly retro brakes and tyres.

➡️ Remko's 1993 Koga Miyata Skyrunner Carbolite (Japanese frameset / Dutch-American designed and built)

Pink and purple not really showing in these pics but real life colors are really bright
Using it as a daily ride so it's on slicks.

Didn't realize a Klein was already in for this month. No point in splitting the votes with my Adroit. Another time maybe.

Nice lot so far :)

By my count we need a Fat, some Brit Content, maybe a goat or 2, and something obscure we rarely see to make this a great BoTM

I think I can help cover a couple of those bases...

Re:

Nice to see the Jackson up. You really did a great job with it and it looks as comfy as an old armchair :D
