Sorry to be a stick in the mud guys but I don't think reserving spaces is very fair. It should be on a first come first served basis. There's still plenty of spaces though so get your entries in now :)

Also apologies to Radnomad but I've deleted your 1999 Kona as it is far too new ;)

Yes OK never mind. I though the end-of-line model of a much earlier design might be accepted. Unfortunately there is no BoTM for post '97 bikes - or maybe i missed it. I had little chance of winning anyway among the gorgeous machines already nominated, the standard is high. Good luck all.
 
I'll have to bow out, I hadn't realised they have to be pre '97.

I'm not sure what year mine is but from what I gather it's about 2003/4.

Definitely a Special though.

I have to agree with my colleagues decision regarding the Kona.

And I'm a Kona fan ;)

It was about a challenge between a good friend and me, who can build the lighter titanium bike from 1993-1994 with suspension fork, click pedals and offroad tires.
I have won. 9,2kg!

Fat Chance Titanium S/M with: Specialized FSX fork, Nukeproof/Campagnolo Atek wheels, Avid TriAlign brakes with Kooka Levers, Flite Evolution, XTR900 Grip Shift SRT600, Cook Bros. E, Chris King, Panaracer Smoke lite Compe, Action Tec TiRings....
All Screws, Nuts and Bolts are titanium or aluminium.
