I am truly sorry to hear that you couldn't make your Road Lite work out. I can honestly say that you should search high and low for a smaller one. A couple of years ago I picked one up while searching for a comfortable classic steel frame to have as a casual fixer-upper to mess around with. At $150 (complete with dura-ace crank, carbon forks (kestrel?), Thomson post, 105 brakes and drive) I was quick to seal the deal before the shop owner changed his mind. I ended up straying away from the original look, which some would consider a terrible thing to do, but I knew that she would stay in my collection for quite some time after riding this bike only once and wasn't too worried about what others might consider to be right or wrong; as long as I liked the restoration. Although this one isn't it's original color, she looks great after many hours of 3000 grit wet sanding/polishing and having a fresh powder coat job (went down with a silver base and put a candy blue with blue and silver fleck in the clear candy as a second coat! You would have to see it in person to appreciate what the sunlight does when it hits her!) I find myself riding this bike more often than any other in my collection. This one is a keeper! If any readers come across one for sale, buy it immediately! P.s. sorry about the terrible photo quality. I'll add more/better photos at another time.
