Bontrager Race

I'm lightly toying with the idea of moving this on, realistically, at the moment, what do you think it would fetch?
I'm sure I'd regret splitting my little Bontrager collection but honestly, if I reach for a Bonty it's gonna be the Ti Lite or Race Lite. I can't remember the last time I rode it.

I know you're asking about the value for the complete bike Ben but I guess you already know that splitting it would be the way to go, especially as the fork is so desirable. I don't think the fork, or even the frame, will realise close to their full value being part of a complete bike. If I didn't already have one I'd be sending a PM!

I pretty much thought the same thing to be honest.
The thing is I know what I'm like. If I'm left with a groupset that means I'll end up buying another frame and that sort of defeats the object of selling it!

I think if you find the right person, who just wants to buy the bike and ride it and love it (rather than putting their own stamp on it, or splitting it to sell) then you could get money around full value. That person(s) will be out there but obviously it narrows down your market a lot.

Add a multipack of Worcestershire Sauce French Fries and I'll consider it! Like I said, just an idea at the moment, it could take months to actually go through with it, if I can bring myself to at all!

When I sold my race lite , the frame went for £450 and the forks for £330.

I think that's probably the ceiling for bonty's in the current market. My old forks have been on eBay for the best part of a year for £450 and they aren't selling.

As a complete bike you're probably looking at around £900 itd say.

If you fancy getting some money out you could sell the forks and I could set you up with a nice pair of exotic carbon ones instead

That's round about where I was thinking for the bike.
I've been out and cleaned it this afternoon, I don't think I can do it just yet! It's a beautiful bit of kit and it did take a while to gather the four together. I'm going to enjoy owning them for a while longer. The cash would be nice but as it's not essential it'd probably end up going into other bike shit anyway, which, quite frankly, I have far too much of already!

Bit late to the thread. the forks are worth £350 don't sell them you will regret it.
The frame is worth about the same.
The race lite is indeed far superior to the race.

Yeah, it was just one of those ideas that was floating around when work was slow and money was tight. Got through that without selling anything
At this exact moment this is going nowhere, as you say, I'll regret it.
