Not sure if the 650B tire will fit on a Judy XC...I don't have a front wheel. My 26" bike has been converted to fat front/650 rear only. But I do have a Judy XC fork. I will check for you when I get around to build the front wheel.

Seeing the frame is the same, is it slower in handling?
How does it take trails?

It rides about as fast as the 26" rear wheel. Definitely not slow starting like the 29er.
The fat front is heavy but takes out bumps like a monter truck abd it's fun in snow, very stable in snow.
