I am seeking a good home for an authentic 96 Bontrager Privateer 96 - pre Trek vintage Steel

Will suit someone sized 5.7 - 6.1

Unused for 5 years. But cleaned up and rides fine but would benefit from new sprocket and chain

Some paint flacking surface rust at bottom bracket
Adapted for commuting use but mud guard removal and knobblies tyres will restore to former glory

Could be very keen on this but can you confirm the seat tube measurement?

If you can tell me the centre of bottom bracket to the centre of top tube/seat tube intersection that would be great

Once I have this I can confirm one way or the other

I have measured top tube / seat intersection to middle of bottom bracket and its 17 inch - which would make the bike a large based on the original catelogue

Sadly too big for one rider and too small for the other
