Both look good in my eyes.
I have a Salsa stem/Titec bar set up on my Race.
End of the day, whatever suits you best is the right choice. It's your bike, Bontragers are pretty versatile and wear most stuff well.

Looks really great! I think I like the bontrager post and stem maybe (90mm) - but benjabbi’s right it’s about what fits!

You are gonna run the shifters friction or try to set it up 10sp? I don’t know the Paul shifter but my guess is it will work just fine - it matches shimano 8sp right? So whit a shimano or sram 10sp 11-32t road cassette I think it would work science-behind-the-magic

It’ll all be 8 speed. For the ultimate adjustment I’ll go friction and it will all work perfectly
