Just had a look at the 98 catalogue and it says they're folding. I'll wait for you to confirm. Out of interest, are the wheels for sale?

Those are finding a home on my new tandem project, aha. Wish I hadn't sold so many D521 wheelsets on with other bikes, getting rarer!

I'm pretty sure they're wired. Checked the front tyre, and it's a little heavier than the '98 catalogue, 670g as opposed to 600-615g, but the casing is pretty supple, so I suspect the bead is the only difference.
