In what year did the Bontrager frames go to the 1 1/8" head tube. I realize it would be 'trek" built frame but I imagine it still rides much the original 1" head tube frames??
I have a chance to pick one up at a decent price and having the 1 1/8" head tube is a real advantage in terms of fork selection but what am I giving up other than authenticity?
Me I just want to ride it!
