Evening all.
I had the opportunity to play a little ( ok, bounce up and down on) a Marzocchi Bomber last week and I was well impressed: more and plusher travel than my Manitou 5s. So, on the look out for one ( admittedly I'd prefer an orange, yellow or best of all green pair) I've found this:

Where does this type of Bomber come in the heirachy and is it any good? ( I can't make head nor tail of all the stuff on the net, my brane is completely addled today )
It's local, and comes with the wheel and brake, though I may see if I can get just the fork.
Looks like it will accommodate Vs, yes?

Cheers :)

Re:

Slighty later bike, but this has 120mm forks on it. I've had a new rear shock mount fabbed though so that it also runs a 220mm shock and again has 120mm ish at the back. This also lifted the back end to correct the steering angle. Its a tall bike though, look where that BB is before sag.
Really should build this back up at some point...

 Nice. I think I'll stick to around 100mm though :) I want a little more travel and a bit more plushness. Even though I gave the fork a good going over it's still stiffer than I would like and getting new elastomers is pretty much a non starter. I am going to put one of the Manitous I have ( got two Mach 5 Pro Cs) on a 98 saracen frame I have and may keep the other for spares, but this is my main rider and I would like a bit more suppleness up front, especially after the ride I had last night :)

And thanks John Tom, I'll check it out :)
