Hey... So, these came ons bike I just bought... How do I adjust them? Probably a stupid question but had to ask... Do I just screw both red knobs all the way tight then back both off equal amounts until I like the feel? Why do the two knobs have different writing on them?

Both red knobs preload the springs. Turning in the '+' direction stiffens, '-' softens. The knob marked 'rebound' has a slot in the centre. Wind the slotted bit in the '+' direction to slow the rebound and in the '-' to speed it up.

Thanks! That's perfect!!

NOTE: I changed the brace.. The one pictures is off a different model... Does that matter? This one has more drilled out holes than the original one... It looks way better... Is that ok?

Re:

Should be ok. Give 'em a service as per manual and they'll be good for another few years.

I'd be a bit leery of changing the brace for one with less material / more holes considering that there were some failures in the early years.

The one pictured is the standard brace for Z2's

Thanks! The user manual did show one with less holes in it but I have seen ppl swap in after market carbon braces before so I'm sure it's ok...
