BMX grips???

Yo,
Seen some grips I really like, but it says they are 'BMX specific'...will they fit MTB bars, is the I.D. the same?

Call me a div if you like, but I don't know. :facepalm:

If memory serves me right they're all 22.2mm, so they should fit. Only motorcycle grips won't fit because one of those has a larger diameter (for the throttle)

Hotwheels was a very well known BMX shop who changed into a BMX importer!

I think they are the same, everything BITD was imperial sizes, 22.2mm is 5/8" which is a fairly common size and suitable for bars etc.

Some Bmx grips have flanged inside ends..

So they work with thumbies just about (and gripshift) but interfere with under bar shifters..

That's been my expeience.

Personally i think its a good look.

Fit on my Ritchey Force Lite bars ok , with thumbies too . It seems just wrong cutting flanges don't it ? :shock:
So I got 'em on the outside
