Bmx cranksies on mountain biksies

Yup....it's a given thing ... they're goin on 👍
But the bike is going to be a workhorse, hope they're up for the task. Will write to the manufacturer.

Another option is Middleburn cranks, then paint the spider gold.

I didn't mean to go for the gold look but the thing is I have a thing for mx bars rather than mtb bars. Got a good deal on some gold renthal mx, decided to get a gold post, drunkenly bought a gold spider crank..

You may be the best health hazard wingman I've ever encountered mate 🤣 🍺

I do actually have a 127 spindle token bb laying about that'd fit for a square taper setup on the KM... Hmm.... Will see what the day brings.

Down these and decide? 20220613_182340.jpg

For you I would make an exception in posting to Europe at cost of course... 😉

Hey mate didn't mean to ignore you there.

They're lovely and I was genuinely contemplating it, but the thing is if I buy these, I'll have to go nuts with colour matching somewhere else. For now gold and black is as bold as I dare go. Hope you get them sold soon though! If you still have them laying about in a good while they may be able to find a home on my Mi80 build.

No worries when I saw the rest was gold even I thought ah no... 🤣 🤣

Oh I don't know. Unrelated post.

In about 1992 or abouts I went to the Tuborg brewery for a tour with a bunch of mates, and the secret was to hang around for when a school group would visit.

At the end of the brewery tour we went to what I would call a massive drink parlour with Tuborg presenting all its products neatly arranged per seating, and since the school kids couldn't drink the tables were full of booze for grabbing. We got stung on our clever trick*, and the the host pointed out that even people working for Carlsberg would do the same thing in the quest to have a proper beer.

* Tuborg finding four rucksacks full of beer on the way out was not cool and we got the low down on the Danish drinking tax.

Carry on Imlach.

Like museums who believe in the no touch approach, I stirnly oppose brewery tours that aren't drinking tours. What's the point?

If I owned a brewery I would force the tour guide to drink at least 6 pints per tour, allowing the late visitors to get the proper tour at 8 PM when his vocabulary has formed into mere guttural moans, in other words perfect Danish.

We were well mullard at the table. The rucksak stock was for the night train to Berlin. Really happy days.

Sit back, and take a deep breath.......the tour guide was a perfectly bilingual Brit. I learnt that on average a Tuborg bottle got re-used 36 times. I look back now and think Wow!
