I am going to put this on hold until I get in touch with a company that can help. Also I'm having headset issues which are urgent and have to be dealt with. Very stressful.

Sooooo... New headset ordered to hopefully fix the issues. Contacted a stockist in Netherlands. Am thinking it'll be easier just to get another middleburn rs7 crankset... But it's not bmx. Its the same old, it's another bottle of Carlsberg.. It quenches the thirst, it hydrates me to yet again take up the spanner... But it isn't a bottle of Caol Ila.. The bmx cranksies would have been.

Many questions to be answered, many possibilities to be explored. But for now this weekend will be devoted to gardening, though everything I grab that has an even semi rounded shape forms into a bmx crankset in my hands, as yet another tear drops down my cheek, landing on the ground probably allowing yet another weed to grow - knowing that my impulse purchase of a new electric weed burner probably won't be able to get rid of it. I've yet to take it out of the packaging but I truly believed it'd do the trick after watching a posh South African sounding man using it...

What a cruel world it is to not be made of infinite money to buy bike components.

I'd rather spend the money on a cheap badly anodised set of ixfs from aliexpress and then drown my sorrows while surrounded by cheap Chinese bling I'll never use, crafting makeshift jewelry out of finishing bolts, chain tensioners and jagged stems

With the dispiriting comment about using deores, I have concluded that it's time to do as promised, I have put a few cans in the freezer and put on the super freeze option, I will now retire to the container outside the house due to be picked up in a couple of days. Maybe they'll bring me along for the ride. There's a cosy little spot in front of the rubbish as pictured.

Is the the little container with tar like consistency in it actually a very potent psilocybin extract you're meant to consume to build up courage to press add to cart? Or perhaps its laced with some high dose of a lethal drug to make quick work of things once the receipt arrives?

Here we are. 3 am, ran out of beer now drinking white wine from a box (blegh)....

The middleburn will cost me about 218 quid with import fees included. With a spider. Maybe I just get another set of middleburns.

I tried to look online for the profile mtb cranks in the UK, but apparently all stockists are like small shops you have to email or call, and it takes ages and most of them can't be arsed to ship.

I am starting to contemplate something stupid. So about 3 weeks ago I drunk shopped aliexpress and fell in love with these.



They look nice, colour looks great and they feel stiff but honestly they only weigh about 400 something grams and it's Chinese. What are the likeliness that they're going to hold up to my 300 pound fat arse?

I have some for sale that look a little similar! Are yours scalloped on the back of the arms? Mine weigh around 340 grams
I'd say keep your legs spinning and no grinding big gears and you might be ok......for a while!
