Afternoon all,
On Friday morning I'm going to roll off a ferry in St Malo and attempt, in the company of one other rider (plus a couple of others intermittently) to ride 480km in one hit. On the road -- I'm not completely bonkers. We're aiming to trace out the shape of a REALLY BIG ermine spot, which is that funny-shaped thing on the Breton flag. Because we'll be in Brittany.
Needless to say, it's all for chaaaarity, in this case Mind, the mental health charity. Because lots of people go a bit wrong in the head, and it's something that ought not to be stigmatised (or, at least as bad, not talked about). If you feel able to chuck a few pennies in the virtual rattly tin, please go here:
http://www.justgiving.com/ljdf
And if you follow the instructions about tweeting your donation, you'll be in the draw for a Bryton GPS gizmo courtesy of the delightful http://road.cc. Follow @lejourdefrance on that Twitter and you might get some socks. Thanks to the power of magic (or possibly technology, it can be hard to tell), you'll be able to check our progress at http://www.lejourdefrance.org.uk with a moving blob on a map and stuff. Probably.
Thanks for your attention, I now return you to your scheduled arguments
