Blasting and powder coating a fillet brazed frame

Chatting to the lads in my local bike shop yesterday and posed the question in conversation. It's not a Giant Concept store but a pretty oldschool shop I may add.

Is it safe to blast and powdercoat a fillet brazed frame, I'd always thought it damages the brass.

One said no problem, one said no way

What's the consensus?

If the brazing can withstand 200°c for 20mins then powder coat will be fine.

Melting point of brass is much higher than that?

I think the melting point of brass is 900°c so powder coat is fine. The hanging process at the coaters is more important to eliminate warping.

We use an revolving track, so the frame is hung from the track using hooks. The weight needs to be equal as possible to stop distortion.
Hanging from a single chain stay may cause movement during curing.

I've had Roberts, Dave yates, bromwich, fisher TET, Dave hinde and zinns all blasted and powdered without issue
